Medivent Excelsoir

It is a high-end Anaesthesia workstation that provides for the standard features like oxygen Ratio controller (ORC), Oxygen Failure Protection Device (OFPD), Nitro-lock, Hypoxic Guard and so on. It has and integrated ventilator, electrically driven the requires no gas source for its driving. The ventilator works on Volume Contro Mode and provides for pressure bar graph, display of frequency, Inspiratory Time, Tidal Volume and I/E ratio.

Gas Inlet A) Cylinder Inlet: Four nos. Pin indexed yoke, 2 nos. each for O2 & N2O. Yokes are identified by clear marking. B) Central Pipe line Inlet: Non-interchangeable pipeline connection for O2, N2O, Air & Vacuum.
Pressure Regulators 2 stage regulation. Each gas service is fitted with high performance Regulators for two stage reduction
Pressure Indicators (Pressure Gauges) High & Low pressure. The pressure gauge panel is mounted with big pressure gauges for individual cylinder pressure indication of O2 & N2O. The gauges are identified by the gas service marked on them as well as by colour coding. The gauge panel is also equipped with line pressure gauges for monitoring of line pressure for O2, N2O & Air. Vacuum system also equipped with vacuum gauge for monitoring vacuum leve.
Flowmeter with Oxygen Ratio Cylinder A) It is equipped with a Cascade type five tube rotameter assembly for flow control of O2, N2O & Air. It is fitted with high and low range tubes each of O2 & N2O for precise control gas flow I) O2: Flowmeter - Double, Range - 0.1 - 1 litre/min, 1 - 10 litre/min, II) N2O: Flowmeter - Double, Range - 0.1 - 1 litres/min, 1 - 12 litres/min, III) Air : Flowmeter - Single, Range - 200 - 15000 cc/min, B) Unique Flowmeter design ensures easy service and maintenance. Each gas control valve is fitted with colour and shape specific knobs as per standard practice, C) It is fitted with Oxygen Ratio to ensure a minimum 25% level of Oxygen in the O2 - N2O mixture.
Oxygen Low Pressure Alarm This safety device generates an audio & visual alarm when oxygen pressure in the rotameter falls below 500-600 ml
Air/N2O Interlock This interlock system eliminates the possibility of selecting Air with N2O
Vaporizer Manifold It is provided with one Thermo-Compensated Vaporizer of user's choice. Space provided for mounting another vaporizer
Oxygen Flush This is flush unit is designed to supply emergency oxygen to the patient at the rate of 30-75 lpm. The push button switch of the unit is mono stable type and to be pressed for use
Gas Outlet The machine is equipped with 1 outlet each for O2, Air and Vacuum Inlet.
